Meet Brooke and Tristan

Brooke and Tristan tied the knot back in March at Eighteen Ninety in Platte City, MO and we had the honor of coordinating and designing the flowers for their big day! You may remember Brooke and Tristan from our Engagement Season Giveaway back in February (more on that here). This sweet couple submitted their love story and ended up being one of our finalists in the giveaway! We can’t thank these two enough for letting us play a small role in the next chapter of their love story! Keep reading for more details on how they met and their beautiful wedding day! How to they met:

“When we were 17 and 18 years old, Tristan and I met in a way I would have never predicted: taking the ACT. Tristan was seated right behind me in the test room, and after sharing only a few short sentences, he boldly asked for my phone number. I would come to learn that this boldness is one of Tristan’s hallmark characteristics. I normally would not recommend giving out your phone number to a total stranger, but the outcome here was favorable to say the least. About a week later, we went on our first date: ice skating at Crown Center.”

How Tristan Popped the Question:

“We had talked for years before the proposal about getting married, but Tristan still managed to make it a surprise. He succeeded in getting me dressed to the nines and in my favorite spot without raising suspicion. Sitting in front of Liberty Memorial, enjoying the KC skyline and a mushy conversation, he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. “Are you serious?!” was the only sentence I could manage to speak, and before I could see through the shock enough to say yes, the ring was on my finger. Tristan kept one more surprise up his sleeve as he took me home to a party he had arranged with our family and friends.”

The Wedding Day:

Brooke and Tristan’s romantic and timeless wedding day was overflowing with beautiful details! The inside of their gorgeous venue, full of chandeliers and beautiful natural light, was draped in long hanging chiffon panels. These beautiful details were accented by flowing greenery aisle clusters with candles and a whimsical circle arch of wispy greenery and blooms. Brooke wore a stunning A-line gown from Something White Bridal Boutique and dressed her bridesmaids in mix-matched dusty blue and floral full length gowns! All the ladies looked effortlessly stunning!

Brooke opted for a loose hand-tied garden bouquet of mixed white and blush blooms and wispy greenery! We continued this romantic and relaxed floral look all throughout her wedding! The centerpieces alternated between low sprawling arrangements of mixed blooms and greenery in gold compotes and trios of pillar candles surrounding by greenery and blooms. Our favorite detail of Brooke and Tristan’s reception was the head table! The couple’s comfy love seat was centered on the 189o fireplace and accented by a large “B” monogram and greenery backdrop. Her long tuscan head table was also draped in a lush garland with votives and candles surrounding. We seriously can’t get over this gorgeous wedding and amazing couple!
