A Cozy Fall Wedding in Downtown Kansas City

John + Hannah

John and Hannah’s September fall wedding is truly giving us all the cozy vibes!!! The rich terracotta tones paired with lush greenery created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made every detail feel soft and welcoming. Hannah looked stunning in her elegant mermaid gown from True Society by Belle Vogue, perfectly complemented by a delicate, flowing tulle veil. Her bridal bouquet was a vision of fullness and texture, featuring chrysanthemums, toffee and quicksand roses, bleached ruscus, and silver dollar eucalyptus. With pampas grass, soft blush roses, and bold pops of terracotta, rust, and warm browns, the bouquet embodied a perfect balance of softness and autumn richness. It was simply breathtaking!!!

The groom looked dashing in a classic navy tux, paired with a crisp white shirt and a terracotta bowtie for a perfect fall touch!! His boutonniere, featuring a soft white ranunculus, matched the warm tones of the day beautifully!! The bridesmaids complemented in flowing terracotta dresses, each carrying bouquets that went with the rich, autumnal blooms, tying the entire bridal party together in a seamless, elegant palette!!

Ceremony Details

For their ceremony, Hannah and John wanted an intimate indoor setting with a bit of a WOW factor, so they chose our stunning square arbor as the focal point! It was decked out with a beautiful mix of greenery—huck, silver dollar eucalyptus, and Italian ruscus—along with pops of rust chrysanthemums, toffee roses, white hydrangeas, pampas grass, and quicksand roses!! To top it all off, we draped smilax from the ceiling, giving the whole space a whimsical cozy feel that perfectly matched their vision!!

Reception Details

For the reception, it was all about creating those cozy, romantic vibes with the warm glow of candlelight!! The tables were decked out with gold candlesticks holding ivory candles, topped with clear glass hurricanes and surrounded by lovely silver dollar eucalyptus greenery!! Other tables featured our low and lush floral arrangements in beautiful gold Carraway boats! The flowers perfectly matched the wedding theme, with soft whites and blush tones, pops of rich terracotta, rust, and warm browns! We also added soft pampas grass and silvery-green eucalyptus for that dreamy touch, making it such an inviting space for everyone to enjoy!

How to Care for Your Flowers on Your Wedding Day!

  1. Every one of our bouquet’s are delivered in a box with clear glass cylinders that is super easy to keep with you during pictures. We do that so they can be easily transported and you can keep them in there between picture stops. We recommend bringing a towel / paper towels to dry off your bouquet’s before getting out to take pics. You can also reuse the glassware and bouquets as centerpieces for your tables!

2. Keep your flowers away from extreme temperatures. Do not have your flowers close to anything too hot or too cold as it will cause your flowers to wilt faster.

3. Keep any bouquets in water until about 30 minutes before your ceremony as they will be wet and may drip water down your dress.

4. If you can store any boutonnieres, corsages, in a cool dark area, even in a refrigerator (towards the front, if it is toward the back it might freeze) if you can anything cold, and dark will help prolong the life of your blooms.

5. When your bouquets are not in use put them back in water, the longer the bouquets are in water the longer they will last.

6.If you have any flowers that are outside in extreme heat, it is best to keep them watered and/or indoors until 30 minutes before the ceremony. (This only applies to outdoor ceremonies in 80 degree and up in full sun.)

7. If you are having a winter wedding try to not have your bouquet outside as much, as the colder temperatures can cause flowers to wilt as well. (This applies to weather that is 32 degrees and below)

8. Just remember water, cool, dark and your flowers should last the entire length you need them for!
